Sally is an award winning playwright, author, screenwriter and teaching artist. Her plays have featured in the Come Out Children’s Festival, The World Festival for Children’s Theatre, the Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festivals and travelled to Canada and the United Kingdom.
In 2014 Sally won the Trinity College London International Playwriting Award with her play Gone Viral, and this play has since been selected for the 2017 DreamBig Children’s Festival. In 2015 Sally won the inaugural ‘Off The Page’ screenwriting competition at the Adelaide Film Festival, with her feature film script People Like Him Look Ridiculous in Suits, and she was thrilled to be a writer on Taryn Brumfitt’s documentary about the Body Image Movement, Embrace, released in cinemas in August 2016.
Sally’s first children’s book Teddy-grams for Campbell was published in 2014 and she is the creator of the Free Range Theatrix Drama and Creative Play program for preschoolers and primary school students. She is available for commissions, workshops and creative collaborations.
